National Taichung Theater 



National Taichung Theater, hailed as one of the 9 new architectural landmarks in the world, was inspired by the concept of Sound Caves. Japanese architect Toyo Ito's design.



The building is an integrated spatial-structural system that provides a sense of Nature's dynamism.

Luce Memorial Chapel


Established in 1955, The Luce Memorial Chapel was the first building in Taiwan to employ a modernist architectural vocabulary.


The Luce Chapel remains the only church building ever designed by I.M. Pei.




National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts


National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, which opened in 1988, has a total of 24 exhibition halls. The museum regularly holds exhibitions of Western art, Chinese brush paintings, and sculpture.

Lin family Mansion and Garden in Wufeng usually refers to the mansion and garden located in the Azhaowu area.

A nice place to catch the sunset. This place has a wide walk and visitors can watch the sunset while walking in the background of the wind turbine.

National Museum of Natural Science

National Museum of Natural Science is a six-venue complex housing the Space IMAX Theater, Science Center, Life Science Hall, Human Cultures Hall (the original Chinese Science Hall), Global Environment Hall and the Botanical Garden, excluding the Earthquake Museum in Wufong. Over 30 permanent exhibit areas cover subjects on astronomy, space science, paleontology, ecology, gems and minerals, Taiwanese Aborigines, and tropical plants.

DaJia Jenn Lann Temple


People saying that JennLann Temple of Dajia was brought in to Taiwan by the Fukien province Tien islander, surname Lin, from Meizhou in 1730. Jenn Lann temple was built in Dajia. 


The temple with the statue of Mazu in Taiwan is more than five hundred and more. Every year during the beginning of March of Chinese Year, territorial pilgrimage is a great celebration. There are hundreds of believers following the pilgrimage.

During a press conference in early 2008, Mr. Ando presented his concept for the triangular design. His aim was to achieve a balance between the environment, architecture and people.

Rainbow Village 


Must go visit.

Rainbow Village, all paintings on the wall are created by the veteran, Mr. Huang. He was born in HK.

In 2008, he came out of an idea to paint the wall with various colors. Starting from his house, he gradually finished the whole block. 


The location is a bit far out from town and need to take taxi or bus.
